| WHAT! how is it that the last time i updated this thing was back in December of 2006? It's already the 1st of September in 2007!!! Why is time passing by sooo quickly? Does that just happen as you get older? Gee I must be getting old.
So much has happened since the last time I updated. I am now a graduate student at USC. I am getting my masters in Education in Post Secondary Administration and Student Affairs. I started classes this week, and I feel like a freshman all over again, but this time i'm much older and more mature. Nevertheless, when I registered and when I went to get books it was such a weird feeling. A feeling of excitement but at the same time very scary. Scary because I don't know if i'll be able to get through working and going to school full time. Can I get through graduate school? I better be able to get through it with all the money i'm putting into this. My classes have been good, I love my professors and I thought I would never say such things. This time is much more different than undergrad. No slacking off, no putting things until the last minute, no not going to class just because I don't feel like it, and no roomates. I think that's the saddest part!! I've already had 3 short papers to write and tons of reading to do. I can't believe it's the end of the first week of school and I already have all my homework done. Amazing! I am going to study hard, get straight A's and enjoy every single moment of being back in school. That is my goal for the next two years. To be able to really love and give myself to this career path that I have chosen. I love being a TROJAN!! FIGHT ON!! I can't wait for the football games, and all the tail gates. That will be one major difference from UCR. The crazy madness for your athletics.
It's 12:46am and I feel like my bedtime passed a LONG time ago. I am going to fully take advantage of this 3 day weekend. I got to scrapbook, well make cards and I LOVED IT! If only I had more time in the day. That would be perfect, or maybe 2 of me- one to just play and enjoy things and the other to study like a crazy woman. I think I am beginning to not make sense.
Long weekend ahead filled with good things. Looking forward to this semester. Will update more frequently because I feel like a freshman again- and in college it was all about xanga-ing. I hvaen't updated in so long that I don't even know how to use the tools and there are all these different tabs for text, photos, videos, and audio. Cool- hopefully i'll catch on and learn how to use them. Let me see if I can post some recent pictures. OH sad! I haven't taken any recent pictures of anything! I have no new pictures to share? How does that happen? What a sad post. Pictures to come later!

| i just came back from NY... i went to visit grace and i had the best experience ever!!!! i have never been out of CA because i don't count vegas, so it was tons of fun!!!
i got there on the 1st of november and got back the 7th... grace showed me around everywhere and i feel like we did a lot of walking and eating and sightseeing.. it was great!...
ny is a crazy place.. i thought the bus driver was going to kill us when i went on the bus for the first time.. the traffice is insane and everyone and their mom honks... no on really pays attention to the street lights, if there are no cars you just go.. hahahah you can cross wherever.. whenever.. there are tons and millions of people.. everywhere.. on the street, in the subway, everywhere... ny has the greatest museums.. i went to the met, the guggenheim, clositers,and MoMA!!! they were awesome.. i loved them... then we went to central park, times square, chinatown, little italy, down to take the south ferry, shopping, and eating everything. we ate hot dogs, pizza, deli's, saigon grill, gam mi ok, this place in chinatown, and so much more that i can't remember it all... we watched the color purple.. it was such a powerful show.. and so emotional... it was the last day with one of the lead cast members so she put on a really good performance.. the empire state building... with a view that is so amazing that the camera does not do justice to it.. shopping on 5th ave.. grand central station.. street fairs.. this was an unforgettable trip...
made me think.. that maybe i want to go to school out in ny... hahaha.. but i came back to my senses... today i went to work.. and as i walking through our campus.. i thought.. how can i ever give up this awesome weather? and what is the point at working for usc when i can't even use them to pay for my tuition??.. hahaha.. i don't want to end up deeper in the debt hole either.. so i'm going to go to sc.. hahaha.. greatness... i still love it here.. so i'm fine.. i'll just always go and visit ny.. hahaha.. that works too :)
